Into Abruzzo

Today part 1. I had a great day today. This morning I went into Abruzzo, to Castel di Sangro with the lovely landlord Eugenio and landlady Cinzia of the apartment that I'm renting. We had coffee in a lovely café, then we went to the market where I bought a whole load of fruit, vegetables, cheese, local salami and guanciale. This was followed by a walk around the park, then back to the café for lunch. A quick stop off at the supermarket for gf pasta, prosciutto crudo e burrata then home for a nap. 07 September 2025
